raw materials used to make them – trees – can regrow after they are cut down, which replaces the material that is
harvested.
Finfloor’s FINOAK engineered wood flooring is carefully sourced and adheres to EUTR conformity.
The European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR) aims to counter illegal logging and associated trade in timber and
timber products in the member states of the European Union, and ultimately contribute to sustainable
management of forests and reduced emissions from deforestation and forest degradation beyond EU borders.
EUTR regulations stipulate that all imported timber products, must be from legal and sustainable sources. To prove
this our manufactures supply trace documentation of the wood and can trace back the supply chain to the forest.
There are random checks in Europe that enforce this and upon request we can request this documentation.
Both FINOAK HDF and Finoak 3-ply make NO use of dangerous solvents during the manufacturing process.
